Dear Bill
The Aquarius Management Office recently sent an email message to the owners. It was a reminder of the amortization schedule of the loan for the Special Assessment 2017.
The table of quotes used was the same as used at the outset of the Special Assessment 2017 after the loan contract was signed with the lender Banco Popular. At that time, it was agreed that after 24 months of ‘interest only’ introductory payments, a true-up would be computed and new quotas would be established and charged.
The reasons for this true-up are:
1. The “interest only” quotas were established on the assumption that Aquarius C.A. would borrow the entire loan amount of $15 million. That was not the case. The payments have been made in accordance with the completion of several construction stages.
2. The amortization schedule quotas should reflect the same assumption. However, A good number of Aquarius owners preferred to make a full payment at early date to cover their entire SA 2017 share. At least $3 million have been deposited. Therefore, the outstanding loan to be paid can never be more than $12 million.
It is understood that the total obligations incurred will consume the full loan amount of $15 million, but it is of vital importance to charge the owners the actual amount of interest based on the outstanding loan amount.
It is necessary to make a realistic true-up that reflects the actual obligation of Aquarius C.A. with the lender. This will result in adjustments that are fair for all.

Application Process
Getting Your Rebate Is as Easy as 1-2-3! 1. Purchase and install a new WaterSense labeled high-efficiency toilet (HET) in your property. 2. Download and complete the application.3. Attach the originalreceipt for the newly purchased toilet(s), a photo of the new toilet installed, and a copy of your most recent City of Hollywood water bill, to your originalapplication (label all documents). Only fully completed applications, with original receipts, will be processed. Prior to calling to inquire about your rebate, please check your water bill. Please allow at least three billing cycles for your credit to show.Single-Family Toilet Rebate ProgramThe Single-Family Toilet Rebate Program is offered to qualified Hollywood residents as an incentive to replace pre-1992 toilets that use an excessive amount of water per flush (three or more gallons).
Residential utility customers who submit an application, with proof of purchase for the replacement of an older toilet, with a WaterSense certified toilet, may receive a credit to their water account of up to $100 per toilet; maximum of two (2) rebates. (Toilets purchased prior to October 20, 2010 for Single-family rebates are not eligible.)
Multi-Family Toilet Rebate Program
The Multi-Family Toilet Rebate program is designed for multi-family properties (e.g. apartments, duplexes, condominiums, and townhomes) built in 1992 or earlier and served by a single master meter. The goal of the program is to provide an incentive for property owners to replace older toilets that use more than 3 gallons per flush with high-efficiency WaterSense labeled toilets; maximum of two (2) rebates. (Toilets purchased prior to February 6, 2013 for Multi-family, master-metered buildings are not eligible.)
Commercial/Institutional Toilet Rebate Program
This Commercial/Institutional Toilet Rebate program is designed for businesses (e.g. Hotels, Offices, and Assisted Living Facilities) built in 1992 or earlier. The goal of the program is to provide an incentive for property owners to replace older toilets that use more than 3 gallons per flush with high efficiency WaterSense labeled toilets; maximum of ten (10) rebates, unless preauthorized. (Toilets purchased prior to August 26, 2015 for Multi-family, master-metered buildings are not eligible.)
Toilets purchased and/or installed prior to the start dates(s) of the corresponding appropriate program will NOT be rebated. The rebate will be applied as a credit to the master-metered water account; no checks or cash will be issued. Rebate disbursement to residents and/or owners of the unit is solely the account holder’s responsibility. This program is offered on a first come, first served basis, is subject to available funding and may be canceled, modified, suspended, discontinued or terminated at any time.
