Some New Some Old at Aquarius – June 2016
A pictorial display special for those that are up North.
The Aquarius Community got two beautiful metal baskets to embellish the Lobby. Thank you very much Judy Ort.
Partial view of the new sofas, chairs and basket in the Aquarius Lobby.
New chairs, sofas, baskets in the Lobby. If you look hard enough you can see the mermaid. Fountains on the right side.
The new library on the South Building. A very short low key campaign resulted in my books donated. The furniture is composed from chairs and tables that once were used in the Aquarius restaurant. When we find funds they will be replaced.
The Library works in an honor systems. Bring one book take one book. Your donation is appreciated. We now have a UD 4K 75 inches TV set. The first show was a success. Did you come?
A receiver previously used in the Cascade Room now gives generous theatrical sound for the new TV set in the Library.
A state of the art sound system is being installed in the Cascade Room. Similar scaled down sound system provides ambient music for Lobby, Bar, Aquarius Room and Hallway.
Billiards and Cards Room. Billiards tables got new covers. Some furniture from was brought from other locations. The result is maximum elegance with minimum investment. Yes, there is a ping-pong table available.
New shinny Valet Carts. After many, many years of good services the old carts needed retirement.
No doubt there still a lot to be done . Maybe the most important lesson is to try to keep all we have in its best shape. Let’s not leave anything is disrepair and let’s finish what remains to be done.
After all Aquarius is our home.

when funds are available??? Haven’t you taken enough of our money?? People have televisions in their homes, why are we buying new one’s??? Let me guess, another special assessment for new chairs for the library right??
Funny how you guys touted the sale of one unit this year. Some poor person doesn’t know what they got themselves into.
Why don’t you mention how the inventory of units available has skyrocketed, while the number of sales in 2016 sits at the 1 mentioned. Congratualtions on creating a toxic environment that is scaring both unit owners and potential buyers away. Property values in the building are dropping faster than the rest of Florida. Oh, and I bet there is another special assessment coming to replace old chairs and other unnecessary items.
Ladies and gentlemen, your board of directors are bleeding you dry and pushing you out.
Every realtor I speak to is afraid of this place.
This cannot continue….
